The data export produces a single Zip file, which you need to extract on a computer. For the files inside, you can choose from HTML, PDF, RTFD, and TXT formats.
A folder is created for each date, and each entry is saved as a file inside it.
Each diary file contains the text and the attached photos.
On a Mac, RTFD files display cleanly and open reliably. On Windows, the HTML format is the best choice for viewing. PDF is ideal for printing or long-term storage, and TXT is a plain-text format that any software can open.
